Competition Rules

•    This competition is run by Portland Enterprises (CI) Limited a company registered in Jersey (registered number 77485) whose registered office is at First Floor, Orviss House, Queen Street, St Helier, Jersey JE2 4WD (“Portland”).
•    Entries will be limited to one per person. Multiple or fraudulent entries will be disqualified.  Only entries properly completed in accordance with these rules and received via email, will be accepted.  Each completed and valid entry received via email will be entered in the draw to win.
•    By entering the competition the entrant will be deemed to have i) read and understood and to have agreed to these competition rules and to be bound by them, and ii), certified that their personal contact details submitted are accurate.

•    The winner will be notified as soon as possible by email.  If the winner of any prize cannot be traced after reasonable efforts have been made by Portland, then the prize may be distributed to alternative winner without any liability or obligation direct or otherwise to the originally chosen prize winner.
•    The prize consists of an online account being set up in the winner’s name to access and view the Television X WebTV website (“Site”) with credit in such account of one 24 hour period.  Portland will give the winner a user name and password for the winner’s personal use only of the Site.  The 24 hour period of credit in the winner’s account will begin at the time of first log in to the Site using the user name and password provided to the winner and shall last for 24 hours only from the time of such first log in.  The winner must use the one 24 hour period of credit in the account within 3 months of being notified by Portland via email that he or she is the winner.
•    There is no cash alternative for the prize and the prize is not transferable or exchangeable.
•    The winner’s access to the Site shall be governed by the terms and conditions posted on the Site. NB: The winner may use content obtained from the Site on a temporary basis for the winner’s personal use and reference. The winner will not make any hard copies of any of content obtained from the Site and, except where the winner is using a feature of the Site, such as “e-mail a friend”, the winner must not copy, or send to or share with any other person, any of that content unless Portland have already agreed in writing. Portland reserves the right to immediately suspend or terminate the winner’s access to the Site in the event that the winner breaches any of the terms and conditions of the Site.
•    Only entries received by Portland before midnight GMT on 29 December 2008 will be accepted.
•    No purchase is necessary and no proof of purchase is required for entry into the competition.
•    Portland’s decision is final with regard to all elements of this competition and no correspondence will be entered into. All entrants who have supplied a correct answer to the competition question will be entered into a prize draw and the winner will be selected at random.
•    To the extent permitted by law Portland will not be liable for any damage, losses, claims or costs, or disappointment suffered by any person taking part or not being able to take part in the competition. Portland does not seek to exclude or limit liability for death or physical injury resulting from its own negligence or any other liability the exclusion or limitation of which is expressly prohibited by law.
•    Entrants must be 18 or over and be a resident of the UK or the Republic of Ireland. Proof of age may be required before the award of any prize.  Employees of RHF Productions Limited, Portland Enterprises (CI) Limited, Portland Enterprises Limited or Northern & Shell plc, their families, agencies or anyone connected with the competition are not eligible to enter.
•    The prize is subject to availability. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, the promoter retains the right but not the obligation to offer an alternative prize of equal value.
•    Portland will be entitled to terminate or modify the promotion and modify these rules prior to the closing date by notice on the http://www.televisionx.com website.
•    These competition rules shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, and the English courts shall be the courts of jurisdiction.
